  • ATI ALL-IN-WONDER X800 XT (AGP 4x, 8x) - This is the ultimate video card! Not only is it the fastest video card available with a 500Mhz clock rate, 16 data pipelines, an 8 Gigapixel fill rate, 750M Triangles and 256MB of GDDR3 Memory, but it also has a built-it TV tuner, FM-Tuner, DVD player and DVD-Quality video capture capabilities. Simply plug ithis card in and hook it up to your cable TV, S-video or composite connectors and watch, record and "tivo" TV programs! (Remote Wonder II controller included.) It also has a dual DVI and RGB monitor connectors so you can use 2 monitors simultaneously, and HDTV and Dolby Digital S/PDIF output connections for your stereo and HDTV now bundled in a convienient single connector box. Being brand new, it's around $500 (well worth it), but if that's too pricey, I highly recommend the AIW 9800 Pro below which is half the speed, but still a screamer. • ATI All-In-Wonder Radeon 9800 Pro (AGP 4x, 8x) - Not only is this a screaming 3D video card with 8 data pipelines, 3.04 Gpixels/sec fill rate, 380 MTriangles/s, and 128MB DDR2 Ram, but it's also a TV tuner (with remote control), DVD player, Video capture device, and much more. The All-In-Wonder series are the only video cards I will put in my PC anymore. I just upgraded from an AIW 8500DV, and the speed increase was amazing. Besides being great for 3D gaming and 3D rendering in programs like DAZ Studio and soon Bryce 5.5 which now use your video processor to render scenes in 0.3 seconds instead of 20 minutes when using your CPU, the AIW 9800 lets you watch TV tranparently through your desktop so you can work while you watch. It also lets you capture DVD-quality video at 720x480 from TV, composite or S-video inputs. I've burned several shows from S-video input to DVD with excellent quality, and you can transfer VHS to DVD, too. Because it has DVI (and standard and HDTV out) connections, every pixel on your LCD screen is exactly where it's supposed to be and you get superior picture quality. It's a great upgrade for anyone with an AGP video slot, and is now hundreds less than when it first was introduced at $500! (Now under $270.)

  • Dell AXIM X50v Handheld PDA - Ths is by far my favorite PDA. It may be slightly larger than some, but it more than makes up for it with expandability. With a SD/MMC/SDIO memory card slot, a Compact Flash II expansion slot and a beautiful 640x480 resolution screen, you can turn your AXIM into almost anything. From adding a GPS module, making it a GPS navigator with directions to anywhere to adding lots of storage and using it as an MP3/Video/DVD player by copying your audio and video files to your AXIM (stereo headphone jack included). It comes with 802.11b and bluetooth already built-in, so you're ready to go online from almost anywhere. Since it comes with Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition, Media Player 10, Pocket IE, Word, Excel and much more you virtually have a complete computer away from home that can do almost anything a laptop can. You can also play games like Age of Empires, Sim City 2000, Madden NFL 2005, and many more in your spare time. You can also buy software to turn it into a universal remote, full-screen keyboard, and much more. Click below on Click Here!, then on the AXIM X50v and configure your PDA today!

  • Sony STR-DE997 7.1-Channel Audio/Video Receiver (120 Watts x 7) - One of the best receivers out there. With Dolby Pro Logic IIx (the x is important) this receiver has excellent audio quality, lots of digital inputs (optical and coax) and S-video inputs so you can run your DVD, satelite, and other video through the unit and out on one S-video cable to your TV. And the new Dolby IIx splits what was the surround channel into two (or four) seperate channels, so you're not hearing a mono surround signal being shifted left and right as in all previous Dolby Pro Logic II systems, and you actually hear two (or four) discrete surround channels. (See sony website- Amazon hasn't gotten around to putting IIx info on their site, or actually saying this receiver has it!) It comes with a universal remote and easy to set up speaker configurations from stereo to 5.0, 5.1, 6.x and 7.x just by turning a dial. It also has an easy-to-access front AV port with Digital optical, S-video and component connections for video cameras or those of us with too many components!
